Flower Show

Sunday, 9 July 2017

I'm currently half-asleep while trying to write this. It's a good kind of tired though; I've had an awesome, eventful weekend. On Saturday, the London Korean Festival took over the Olympia, complete with a Kpop concert where 4 groups performed! My throat is recovering from screaming for EXID, one of my favourite groups.

Then on Sunday I was out of the house pretty early to go to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. My mum's a huge fan of gardening and loves watching anything with Monty Don. I, on the other hand, didn't inherit her green fingers and can just about manage to keep cacti alive. But I do like looking at flowers and gardens (you'll see #flowerstagram a lot in my IG captions), so I came along to the show as well. We went on the last day and it was pretty packed - I might have elbowed a few too many people by accident. But there were some impressive show gardens, beautiful flowers, and a butterfly dome filled with the little creatures fluttering about.

I wanted to dress up a little for the show, so I went for this Zara dress that I picked up back on Black Friday. I fell for the embroidery on the back - I just thought it was a cool touch on a more sophisticated dress. Since I was going fancy I accessorised with dangly earrings, and since I was going to be walking for hours I stuck to flats.

  1. You look lovely! Loving that dress, your choice of outfit is spot on. <3
Looks like a lot of people took interest in the event! It seems really fascinating; this spot in your last photo caught my eye, it's gorgeous!
    Have a good week. xx

    1. Thank you so much!
That last photo was a show garden that won a silver medal :D I wish my garden was like that!
