Slip dress - Topshop / Top - Primark / Shoes - Topshop

Photos by Louise

I wanted to put together a proper outfit post with the slip dress I wore to graduation. I picked a dress I could wear for multiple occasions since I still feel slightly guilty over my old prom dress that's lying somewhere in the attic. Slips are so easy to dress up or down and I love throwing mine over a t-shirt and pulling on some flats if I'm going out to meet friends. For this post I decided to go for a fancier look with the heels and accessories. I wore these shoes to graduation too and they're a comfortable height to walk in (they didn't trip me up when I walked across the stage!), however I do have some issues with them. They're slightly tight for me so they've given me a few blisters but the real pain comes from trying to tie them. The ties are thick and made from suede so they're quite fiddly to knot. Although, maybe I just have poor lacing skills. I don't regret buying them though since they look so damn good.

    1. Thank you so much Winnie! I'm glad I went with a versatile one.
The location is one of the mews around Lancaster Gate. There are quite a few nice ones around there which make good photo ops :D

  7. You did a good job layering this look together. I have small curves so I would just look drowned ahhaah. Well done, gal.
