I like the way you move

Jumper - Monki (old), Trousers - Twist + Turn, Shoes - Topshop
I have found my happy place and it's in this pair of giant trousers. I spotted these navy Twist + Turn babies in Topshop's basement and after some encouragement from my friends, I decided they had to be mine. Spinning and jumping around in these is ridiculously entertaining, as I have shown my friends with mini renditions of the can-can. Minus ten points to dignity. Anyway, I paired the trousers with some simple pieces to keep them the main focus of the outfit (although it would be hard to take any focus away from them). I like the colour combination of navy on navy, and this jumper adds some texture to the outfit. I went for slip on shoes for comfort but I think these trousers would look great with some wedged sandals. Now to fill my wardrobe with five more pairs of wide-legged trousers.

Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition

Last week, I visited the brilliant Series 3 exhibition in London. The exhibit spanned two floors, taking you from the history of Louis Vuitton all the way up to what the brand is today. The displays in each room were impressive, if a little disorientating at times, and there was a perfect mix of technology and creativity. However despite all of the futuristic displays, my favourite part was getting to watch the craftspeople making the bags by hand.

There's still a little bit of time left to see it so I definitely recommend going.

Librarian Style

Jumper - Global Works (old), Skirt - Max Mara (very old), Belt - H&M
Gucci's recent collections have had me wondering why I don't dress like an eccentric librarian more often. After rummaging through my wardrobe, it became clear is that I just don't have the all the clothes for it. However, I managed to put together this much more muted outfit which will make do for now.
